The company also is looking at ways to maximize its line of merchandise, mascot which is centered on T-shirts and hats for kids. After a misfire with a line of shirts for business adults costumes featuring the cartoonish cows, the chain adjusted its aim, rolling out shirts for kids that emphasize the cow characters and developing a more subtle design featuring the brand logo for adults."That program has been somewhat neglected," mascot Kaplan said." "But now we''re taking the time business to do it right." It was apparent from the accident, however, that the chain had milked its limited marketing costumes budget for all it was worth in developing an attention-grabbing mascot."If we had one thing to spend our money on, it would probably be mascot the costume," director of marketing Jamie Kaplan said. "Used properly, it gets you into the eye of the public. And Maggie is larger than life. She demands attention."Following''s last year''s exponential growth, Maggie Moo''s plans to double in size again this year through franchising by opening business 25 to 30 stores across the United States; nearly half of which already have opened. |
